We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an international oil and gas exploration and operating company for the following position:
Metering and Measurement Coordinator
Responsibilities :
□ Supervisor & Mentor 3 measurement engineers, field measurement technicians and one measurement coordinator to achieve accurate measurement results for the Business Unit.
□ Develops the strategies for procuring, operating and maintaining measurement devices in accordance with Government of Indonesia approved delivery procedures.
□ Responsible for addressing all audit findings. Review all measurement audits and develop actions and priorities for measurement resources to ensure closure. Work with Commercial for any discrepancies of measurement results under contracts.
□ Develops operating expense budgets for ongoing measurement requirements and develops funding rationale for measurement improvements required in existing operations.
□ Set priorities for measurement staff and follow through to implement what is necessary for accurate measurement.
□ Responsible for ensuring document management, information management and general administration function are provided by subordinates in line with company policies for measurement data.
Qualifications:
□ Strong communication skills and influence skills for establishing measurement standards and measurement procedures within the Business Unit.
□ Sound judgment, analytical skills and discretion for setting priorities for work group.
□ Able to translate procedures & correspondence from Indonesia to English and vice versa.
□ As a minimum, the candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering with 8+ years experience in oil and gas industry.
□ The candidate shall have extensive experience in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing work and supervising staff to achieve work goals and objectives. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
□ Previous Work Experience in Gas & Liquid Measurement and strong knowledge of all types of Gas and Liquid Measurement in oil and gas operations.
□ He/she must be able to coordinate with engineering, commercial, and operations field personnel to insure accurate measurement results and aligned solutions.
□ Ability to cope in a positive and productive manner within a high-pressure environment to deliver results and troubleshoot problems.
□ The candidate must also be familiar with government regulation on oil and gas industries and have prior experience generating delivery procedures to meet these government requirements.
