HSE Manager
Main Role
To lead and coordinate the Safety section in performing its service to line management to meet their HS accountabilities and assist in the development of a better EHS system for the company. Also, to coordinate the understanding and implementation of Safety policies and programs throughout the company in order to contribute to the achievement of company’s goals and support a safe & efficient operation within the company.
Role of Accountabilities
Develop, manage, communicate and encourages adherence to the Safety and Programs and all other pertinent Indonesian legislation & best practices standards for all Departments including contractors and by doing this help improve the safety & health skill and awareness of the employees.
Manage, select, trains and develop key personnel to ensure the achievement of HSE goals and thereby helping the HSE Department reach a fully requisite structure.
Provide the human resources to: assist line management to meet their Safety accountabilities; to improve the condition of the company's operation, the workroom environment & job practices; to minimize damage to the natural safety & health hazards and to avoid all incidents of loss.
Ensure that Safety matters are reported to Management and the Government as required effectively and timely.
Initiate Safety Training programs for employees in conjunction with TNA to ensure all employees could perform appropriate skill and knowledge relates to the safety aspects.
Evaluate all audits, mines inspectors recommendations and records regarding Safety and recommend improvements as necessary.
Assist in the investigation of all accidents and incidents as required and recommend improvements to help prevent recurrence of accidents/ incidents.
Developing the capability of the safety section
Identify safety risks and assist in the development and implementation of management plans to mitigate these risks
Developing and implement inspection programs that measure the site’s compliance with safety standards
Meeting all safety monitoring and reporting requirements
Monitoring compliance with safety legislation and assist the site in managing compliance
Implementing agreed annual and 4-year strategic plans with the goal of compliance with OHSAS 1800 and implementation of best-practice safety management.
Coordinate the safety committees for all departments.
Lead the personal protective equipment (PPE) committee and contractors HSE forum.
Manage the Kepala Teknik Tambang communication letters, permit approvals and administration related to the government agencies
Manage the safety program and standards across the departments.
Coordinate the communication and team work with the Police relates to the community & traffic safety programs.
Manage overall HSE logistics and general administrations and data records.
Role Cognitive
Able to exercise judgments requiring “Cumulative” processing (such as require to be able to note things indicate potential problems & obstacles, accumulate these to initiate actions to overcome problems) for time-span of 12 months (1 year) down the road.
Knowledge & Skill
· 10 years++ (with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in HSE)
· Expert in Safety & Industrial Health Management System.
· Good knowledge of safety & Industrial Health standards & government regulations
· Good knowledge of computer literacy & documentation
· Extensive experience in operational of mines industry

Specific Required
1. Minimum Bachelor Degree from reputable university in Engineering or Science.
2. Experience more than 10 years and strong background in HSE.
3. Computer Literate: Microsoft Office
4. Strong organization, time management, written and oral communication skills.
5. Good Leadership skills (Effective decision making, team work, customer oriented, etc)
6. Think in strategic terms and is future oriented
7. Willing to be located in Palembang, South Sumatera
