Qualifications: University or College Degree in Environmental Science or Law
Experience: 10-15 years responsible experience in the regulatory and/orenvironmental compliance in the oil & gas, mining, orconstruction industry. Atleast 3 years of the experience must be in a supervisory ormanagerial role.
Skills: Provide advice and consultation to construction teams andsub-contractors with regard to complex regulatory issues andcompliance obligationsAbility to assess contractor work activities to ensure contractorobligatio ns for regulatory/environm ental complianceSupport construction management to implement correctionsactions where required Provide leadership and direct support during governmentinspectio nsAbility to lead multi-disciplinary team involved in regulatory andenvironmental management

Qualifications: BS, preferably in any social science
Experience: At least 7 years experience in Regulatory Complience and /Govt Dept relations for extractive industry (oil & gas, mining)
Skills: Able to immediately build network with key host-community figures Fluent in EnglishFluency in language local to the project WORK is a plus. Good application knowledge Govt. dept permit approval process.
