One of client is seeking a number of experienced GC Chemists to become part of a growing team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate suitability for the position, ideally meeting the following criterion:
• 2-3 years previous laboratory experience operating GC/MS, GC/FID and GC/P&T instrumentation;
• Strong understanding and technical knowledge of preparation processes;
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on the instruments;
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems efficiently and effectively;
• Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of the instrumentation;
• Tertiary qualifications - Bachelor of Science (Chemistry Preferable);
• Computer literacy skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the Quality Procedures Manual;
• Prioritising daily workloads;
• Monitoring instrument performance;
• Ensuring compliance with the laboratory's QC requirements;
• Preparing standards for sample analysis;
• Maintaining relevant documentation.
