Premier is a FTSE 250 independent oil and gas company with producing interests in the North Sea, Indonesia and Pakistan. Premier operates in three regional businesses (North Sea, West Middle East, and Asia) each with production, development and exploration operations.

We now offer an exciting start up OIM role on board Gajah Baru, a new 7500 ton integrated platform bridge linked to a drilling platform, with product exported via a new 3.5 km pipeline to an existing trunk line. This asset will also act as the hub for developing several other fields over the next decade. We are also preparing for future development activities in the area as larger reserves have been identified. This asset is expected to commence start-up and commissioning during Q3 2011. You will work back to back with other rotational staff (Expatriate and National), and have strong experience of managing offshore assets and staff, previously having participated in the start-up and commissioning phases of a new offshore asset.

Due to BPMIGAS regulations, this role is only on offer to Indonesian Nationals.

Offshore Installation Manager – Gajah Baru
(Jakarta Raya – Jakarta and offshore)

Responsibilities:

Assist from a management perspective with all Start-Up and Commissioning activities once asset is offshore
Take overall responsibility for leading, applying and complying with Premier and regulatory HSE requirements in the Anoa field area, covering all staff and contractors, and the operations of physical assets
Responsible for the technical integrity of all field facilities, and management of daily field operations. Includes compliance with government and PONSBV Management System Requirements
Conversant with all relevant safety codes and operating procedures ensuring that these are followed and improved to ensure that the safety of all operations is maintained.
Assist in planning and coordinating all major activities, and assist the Onshore Production Operations Manager in the preparation of operating and capital budgets
Acts as the Deputy Technical Head in relation to MIGAS specific legislative requirements
Identify, assess and respond to all limitations to the technical integrity of the facilities being conversant with all inspection activities required to maintain facility integrity
Ensure all training and development requirements for facility personnel are met with any inadequacies being addresses in consultation with onshore support groups as required
Manage the activities and operational work program as supervised by the Marine, Maintenance and Production Supervisors. Ensure that operations are performed in accordance with the applicable Management Systems, PONSBV Policies, Procedures, work instructions and regulatory requirements
Undertake safety inspections of plant, equipment, machinery and related process, closing out any non-conforming activities and implementing all corrective actions identified
Manage, control, monitor and audit the Permit To Work System, ensuring that the requirements for generating and using PTW are implemented in accordance with Management System Procedures
Coordinate and control the Field Operational work program to ensure simultaneous operations with high risk potential are adequately managed
Ensure regular inspections and maintenance requirements are performed on Fire Fighting and Life Saving appliances, Fire and Gas detection and Emergency Shut-down systems
Core member of the Premier Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Review and approve Engineering Work and Change Requests as the offshore representative in accordance with Management System Procedures
Implement PASS and other safety initiatives as per HSE Guidelines, chair all field safety meetings, and proactively develop HSE awareness within all staff
Skills (and experience):

A minimum of 15 years experience in heavy shipping industry or hydrocarbon production industry environment in a supervisory / management capacity
Previously have worked on the offshore start-up and commissioning phases for a new asset
A minimum of 5 years experience associated with hydrocarbon production and offshore production floating facilities in a supervisory / management capacity (OIM or HOFO)
Knowledge:

A sound knowledge of the business drivers affecting PONSBV in particular, and Oil and Gas in general
Significant knowledge of marine, production, engineering and maintenance management, to be able to manage and contribute to all aspects of Field Operations
International HSES standards and requirements

Senior Reservoir Engineer
(Jakarta Raya)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Well Design

Prepare the number of wells needed to meet the targeted production objectives
Use well design tools to design wells that meet the targeted production objectives
Generate three dimensional (3-D) well plots to validate surveys on current wells
Operational Efficiency Optimization

Optimize operational efficiency to meet internal standards and objectives
Well Performance Evaluation

Review well and field production performance and recommend workover and/or well services to meet the production objectives
Assess the recovery from well in order to provide advice on abandonment
Monitor the field depletion performance of specified fields
Well testing and sampling programs

Assist in design of MDT, Well testing and sampling programs.
Assist in the analysis of MDT/TST data.
Run economics analyses for prospect evaluation.
Assist in field design, development and surveillance planning
Planning & Forecasting

Prepare well plans in line with five year production forecast ensuring these are integrated with the plans of all related functions
Update production forecasts and reserve estimates and investigate deviations from original plans to formulate corrective action
Prepare workover and abandonment requests
Maintain the production database
Operational Framework

Develop an operational framework for well plans and design which forms the basis for all integrated actions with related functions like exploration (Geologist and Geophysicist), drilling, production and reservoir engineering

Vendor Relationships

Maintain regular contacts with external vendors as well as business partners (JV) for effective relationship.
Government Relations
Ensure that effective relationships are maintained with government agencies (MIGAS and BPMIGAS)

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
At least 10 year(s) of working experience in Oil and Gas company.
